About Tiffany Wylie

We can make this world one that is a better home to all, not just a few. Much of my work is focused on bringing people together, creating equitable opportunities to explore your passions and build pathways for yourself. At the Natural History Museums of LA County, I open doors for people to participate in hands-on, career building, authentic museum projects. To learn, build skills, and find inspiration that will enrich their lives. I also built a Volunteer Program that provides a service home for the community of Los Angeles, so anyone who is passionate about science and history can find a home with us. With the Sierra Club, I helped build a movement advocating for outdoor access, because our green spaces should be a safe, inspiring home for all to explore. And most recently, I co-led the Natural History Museum's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) Working Group, developing the IDEA Transformational Framework, a strategic planning document to guide the Museum to being an "actively intersectional, anti-racist institution."Specialties: Strategic thinking; team leadership; clear communication; organizational change (especially focused on diversity, equity, access, inclusion work); building an inclusive, supportive, accessible professional community; volunteer management, sustainability issues, public speaking and interaction, relationship and partnership building, coalition building, event coordinating

Listed skills include Volunteer Management, Public Speaking, Grants, Nonprofits, and 18 others.
