I switched paths to educational leadership. I was sad to leave the classrooms but excited to have an opportunity to help teachers grow and work to maximize educational opportunities for my students! I have taught for over a decade in both secondary and post-secondary schools in social studies. I received a Fulbright Seminar Scholarship to study the German Education System for a summer, which was an amazing experience to collaborate with colleagues all over the United States and take an in-depth look at international education. I finished my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in an accelerated pace. I coach Varsity Volleyball and Co-Advise the Close-up program. I am passionate about education in a global perspective as well as helping students become lifelong learners. Recently, I was elected as our Region 4 representative for a wonderful group of Secondary Principals.
