Senior Program Manager for S/W

As senior project delivery manager for eCast’s client and server teams, I am responsible for scoping projects, developing timelines, coordinating development tasks, managing critical path deliverables, and ensuring the implementation of best practices using agile development methodologies. -Manage the successful delivery of multiple client & server releases to eCast’s network of Internet connected Jukeboxes. The implementation resulted in a growth from 2500 to over 6000 units during that time. Those releases spanned new strategic products such as an advertising platform, new features as well as “hot fixes.” -Manage the integration of music content from the 5 major labels that provides digital feeds to eCast. -Lead two teams of 4 developers each (client / server) in a heterogeneous environment (PHP, Java, C++, COM+, .Net, Flash, MS-SQL Server) -Generate detailed project plans, project scope documents. Conduct risk analysis & post mortem meetings.

Program Manager for eCast Consumer Product Web Development. eCast’s music delivery platform has powered the back-end of major U.S. and Japanese r(e)tailers. (Best Buy, HP, MTV, VH1, Sony, Nifty etc). -Managed the successful release of two software versions. -Generated detailed product requirements documents. -Led a team of 4 software developers. -Collaborated with other dev teams, QA, and Network Operations for timely delivery.

A Team Lead for eCast’s (Rioport) Web Development Division. A key player in developing and deploying eCast’s second generation e-commerce platform for delivering secure content to end users. -Lead a team of 4 developers. -Directed the development of 2 major software releases and numerous dot releases. -Communicated effectively with QA to define test cases. -Ported existing e-tailers from Story Server platform to J2EE environment. -Streamlined communications successfully between multiple offices (Japan, Los Angeles, Colorado) and teams (product marketing, technical operations, database administration, web design, and engineering).

Nettaxi, an Online Community Website that provided people with tools to create their own online communities. Offered customers free services like web mail and personal web sites.Participated in developing Nettaxi’s e-commerce platform. Designed the presentation layer using Apple’s Application server – WebObjects.

Spiritus, the largest wholesale provider of hardware components and computer products to the Israeli business sector. -Oversaw the design, development and launch of Spiritus Website. -Promoted PC products in Israeli national publications. -Launched a marketing campaign to introduce a new monitor brand to the Israeli market. -Collaborated with an external marketing agency to establish Spiritus’s identity and focus.

Process Coordinator Chip Express Corp, Haifa, Israel. 1995 -1997 Chip Express is a Silicon Valley based ASIC manufacturer that uses patented technology to significantly reduce cost and time to market. -Operated Chip Express Laser ASIC customization machine. -Coordinated a detailed R&D process for etching and testing next generation chips. -Analyzed the results and provided R&D personnel with detailed reports.Production Coordinator, Chip Express Corp, Santa Clara, CA. 1993 - 1995 Founding member of Chip Express new One Mask division. Using a patented OneMask technology that extended Chip Express ability to provide 100s of chips in three days turn around time. -Responsible for a timely delivery of 1000’s of ASIC devices and 100’s of unique designs. -Coordinated the entire production process of OneMask devices: Lithography, Plasma Etching, CVD, Testing and Packaging. -Managed a team of 6 process technicians on a 24x7 production line.
