Within Fluence EMEA I am technically responsible for the development and implementation of grow light solutions, partner management, and the technical execution of our research programs. As the lead within Fluence for top lighting systems, I am responsible for defining next generation lighting solutions based on new technologies, (future) market demands and our research results. Support, application engineers and our EMEA research team fall under my responsibility

Working closely with the Fluence science and engineering team to communicate product benefits and relevant research to customers in the EMEA region. I will help disseminate research and highlight trial results of importance to European growers, enabling customers to identify profitable business applications looking to retrofit or deploy new cultivation facilities.

After almost 9 years at Gavita, and developing the brand to a market leading position in horticultural lighting, it's time for me to find new challenges in this industry. I'm available for short term projects and consultancy.

The linking pin between technology and MarCom. Having a broad experience in sales, marketing, technology and training I am specialised in translating technical concepts into commercial products. I was hired for example to develop the introduction program for ISDN in The Netherlands, did the roll-out and development of e-learning and the introduction of ADSL, was Interim marketing manager for a Windows software distributor in the early 90's and Corporate Marketing Communications Officer for a fast expanding Oracle software house specialised in Asset Management. I introduced and developed a Corporate Extranet in 1995 and was chair of the ISOC Marketing working group in The Netherlands. As special projects I pioneered in streaming media in January 2000 where I webcasted the first live opera using the (then) new Windows Media technology, bringing together 7 independent Internet Service Providers (12,000 viewers world-wide).In 2009 I was responsible for the brand development of Gold Label substrates & nutrients and as a consultant to professionalize marketing and communication for Phresh Filters Europe and Lumatek.

Alpha Nova Diagnostics BV is an independent chemical and biochemical laboratory, founded in 2005. Alpha Nova is active in developing and sales of diagnostic (home) test kits. Today there is a huge demand for less expensive screening methods to detect ultra trace levels of pesticide residues and heavy metal in production chains.Alpha Nova’s research programs are fully based on the so called Thin Layer Chromatographic (TLC) method. Over the past five years this method has made a tremendous progression in the field of analytical research concerning detection of (ultra) trace amounts of organic compounds.

Topscore is a company specialised in customer contact and sales training. We have a vertical market in IT and communications, as we offer and integrated concept of product training and sales skills. Out IT expertise gives us a lead in complex sales training situations. Customers include most major Dutch Telcos, the biggest call centers and customer contact centers. We offer specialised as well as standard training programs. We specialise in blended learning.

SQL Systems was an Oracle software house, developing and marketing Asset Management software world-wide. When I joined as a marketing manager we only had 2 offices, one Rotterdam, one sales office in France. When I left the company we had done 2 foreign takeovers (US and UK), sales offices and partners around the world and became the second largest player in this market. I was responsible for marketing communications, Sales support, trade shows and the organisation of the International Users conferences.My last project was the building and implementing of a wordwide extranet for subsidiaries and partners.

Nokia Data (former Ericsson Information Systems) wanted to revive their indirect sales. As a dealer manager I was responsible for the recruitment of new VARs and the marketing support.
