Outline:During my internship at Spartronics Vietnam, I worked under the guidance of Mr. Pham Tu Chinh, a senior process engineer and the supervision of Mr. Le Trong Duong, a NPI manager. I am typically involved in supporting the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes that will meet or exceed company goals and customer demands.Key Responsibilities:• Support Engineers in creating and maintaining Bills of Materials and conducting process trials.• Conduct process analysis to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.• Maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including process flow diagrams, SOPs, work instructions, and equipment specifications.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to manufacturing processes for performance monitoring, trend identification, and decision-making.

OutlineDuring my internship at ABB, I worked under the supervision of Mr. Dien Duc Uy Man, an ABB robotics engineer. I have participated in the company project to develop a robotic vision for the ABB robot and the HMI application for the ABB teach pendant.Key Responsibilities• Configure, calibrate, and offline programming of ABB robots using ABB teach pendant.• Research appropriate cameras and methodology for robotic vision.• Set up, configure, and assess the camera. Simulate the camera with the robot station in RobotStudio.• Research and develop of HMI applications for ABB teach pendants.Key Achievements• Completed the application of robotic vision.• Finalized manual, and application documents for customers and ABB engineers.• Completed the HMI application for the ABB teach pendant.

OutlineThe capstone project, supervised by Mr Truong Dinh Thai, an ABB robotics engineering specialist, and Dr Vu Dinh Son, a senior lecturer at RMIT, focused on the ABB robot's pick-and-place application, a partnership between ABB Vietnam and RMIT Vietnam for robotics application.Key Responsibilities• Select the appropriate approach to optimize the robot's performance based on the cycle time and vibration.• Kinematics and dynamics computation, trajectory planning via MATLAB and RobotStudio• Robot programming and simulation in RobotStudio.• Suction cup flange design using SolidWorks.• Data collection (angular velocity, acceleration, jerk) and MATLAB analysis.Key Achievements• Reduced total cycle time and vibration. Excellence accuracy and repeatability• Robot conducted successful pick and place application in real case scenario.• ABB Research Project Certification (Pick & Place Application) – September 2023

As a part of their team, I have received comprehensive training and showcased educational software/hardware, such as block coding for Sphero and mBot educational robots, for their online Remote Learning Lab and their CODE4Schools outreach initiative.
