Head of architecture for Aetna Digital, the digital transformation arm of Aetna and part of the larger, CVS Digital business unit. Responsibilities include defining the technology strategy and vision for Aetna Digital, defining the wider Digital platform and big data technical strategy, recruiting and managing the Aetna Digital architecture team, driving principles and practices across all of Digital, owning technology choice & vendor selection, and ensuring that Architecture operates effectively in a scaled agile organization.

Recruited to transform Pegasystem’s Cloud Architecture to a best-in-breed cloud platform. Designed and implemented Pega’s next generation, fully automated and secured hosting platform – based on microservice and serverless architectures – which shipped to production in less than a year. Working within the Pega Cloud unit and with outside collaborators in Pega Technology, drove operational readiness and efficiency with the new architecture while also designing and implementing the next generation of Pega Cloud.

Harvard's cloud computing change agent and provocateur. Brought on board to develop Harvard’s cloud capability and strategy. Working with groups from across the University, developed cloud platforms for research computing and enterprise needs; architected and led early implementations of new services on the cloud; guided the establishment of DevOps practices and tooling; guided the adoption of open-source and vendor cloud platforms; advised senior leadership on overall cloud strategy and technologies.
