My father began Tommy Tucker Realty Co in '58.We take a holistic approach working with clients, customers & vendors in housing: buying, selling, leasing, property management, consulting & exchange. Knowledge in the International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) used by CR, Marion & Linn County. The IPMC doesn't just impact investment real estate, but important to all buyers & property owners. Sales, marketing experience in real estate, property management, manufacturing & commercial photography. Our RE company was early in a major 1031 exchange locally in 1989.Worked in commercial photography, part-time journalism, sports officiating & RE accounting prior to entering the public accounting industry, after college graduation. My first business experience was handling phone messages in my youth at home, when Mom & Dad weren't there to answer our night service system.Served on Board of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees for 3 years. Member of the Rotary Club of Cedar Rapids. Various committees of Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce and Cedar Rapids Area Association of Realtors over the 25 years.Served on Cedar Rapids Local Home Rule Charter Commission, serving as drafting chair in 04/05. Currently on the Professional Standards & Government Affairs committees of the CR Area Association of Realtors. Completed "A Leader's Guide to Asian Cultures" from GlobalEd through FedEx and U. of Memphis.Service above Self and 4-Way Test advocate.
