Doing a good job for the range of clients we represent—buyers, sellers, lenders, developers, general contractors, construction managers, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, sureties and other entities—means going beyond essential legal services to developing relationships and a deep understanding of client goals and needs. It’s also mentoring the next generation of attorneys, providing thought leadership, actively participating in industry organizations and committees, and making connections. Putting two clients together who may not otherwise have joined forces and seeing their ventures succeed is one of the most satisfying aspects of my work. My interest in real estate and construction law grew out of my early responsibilities managing properties for our family business in Queens. As a first-generation Greek American schooled in the importance of a strong work ethic, I developed a simple philosophy for success: Do a good job and everything else will follow.
