Archangel Imaging is a leader in novel Edge AI technology to deliver resilient robotic intelligence, navigation and collaboration in challenging environments. Having grown with the company from early days, I now lead all aspects of startup operations (Finance, Legal, IT, Facilities), having worked hands-on in those areas as well as HR and Marketing areas in the past. I report to the CEO and collaborate with the C-team and senior management on a regular basis. I believe in being a technical manager and emergent leadership, giving my team the space the step up and also staying hands-on to better support my team. I also believe in experimenting and the 'learn fast, fail fast, fix fast' mindset to find and pioneer new ways of working.

Archangel Lightworks is a deeptech startup reimagining space connectivity with a highly deployable laser communication systems. I helped the founding team build and grow the company through pre-seed stage, during which we created multiple patented technology and delivered various advanced engineering programs with a nimble team of 15 people. My role was leading and contributing directly in operations especially in Legal, Finance, and IT areas (while also working full time at Archangel Imaging!). After the company successfully raising its Seed round, I led the succession planning to reduce the scope of my role to Advisor in order to focus on my full-time role.

Participated in the University's term-long programme in which students provide consultancy services to local businesses and organisations.• Worked as part of a team of 5 students advising Wantage Summer Festival to ascertain whether the proposed sponsorship package and existing marketing matched with the local business landscape.• Led the initial client meeting by establishing key questions and confirming objectives.• With fellow team members constructed a database to profile local businesses in Wantage and surrounding areas.• Responsible for designing questionnaire to find out businesses' awareness of the festival, and their opinions and experience with sponsoring.• With fellow team members, conducted c. 23 interviews with local businesse in Wantage.• Collated and analysed questionnaire results, presented initial findings and recommendations to the team the review and data analysis of survey responses.• Led the report structuring and wrote the introduction, executive summary and conclusion.• With fellow team members, presented the results to clients.

I lead two recruitment rounds in Oxford during the 2015-2016 academic year for Polygeia - one of the fastest growing global health think tanks. • Responsible for publicity and correspondences with applicants, generating guideline templates for subsequent recruitment cycles.• Created interview questionnaires, scoring matrix, and exercises to facilitate standardisation across different branches.• Led shortlisting, interviewer coordination and final selection.• Assisted in project assignments for recruited researchers and in induction for newly recruited committee members.• Exceeded targets with the second-highest number of applicants across three branches.

I provided professional face-to-face, consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, to bridge the gap between Vietnamese clients and English-speaking staff at hospitals, councils, courts and tribunals.Holder of Diploma in Public Services Interpreting (Legal), awarded by Chartered Institute of Linguists.

I conducted a literature-based market research and wrote a detailed report regarding the recruitment system in Vietnam for Japanese clients. The final report includes analysis of HR and recruitment policies, recruitment and employment channels as well as user behaviours and HR-related associations.

I assisted at marketing, educational and other events, promoted about King's via blogs and face-to-face.

I investigated the use of synthetic peptides in lineage-specific serological diagnosis for Chagas Disease as well as developing specific novel epitopes. I have gained skills in immunological and molecular biology techniques (ELISA, PCR, DNA sequencing and analysis, phage-displayed peptide library screening) as well as scientific skills (literature reviewing and planning, data recording and analysis, writing and presenting, using scientific softwares).My interesting results were published, and I co-authored one of the team's paper: “Development of Peptide-based Lineage-specific Serology for Chronic Chagas Disease: Geographical and Clinical Distribution of Epitope Recognition” - published on PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases in May 2014.

My responsibility was to look after children with learning disabilities, meet the child’s unspoken needs while successfully resolving challenging behaviours. • Developed strong communication and teamwork skills. Received in-house training, Children’s Workforce Development Council Induction in childcare, social care legislation and standards.
