Mechanical Systems Engineer supporting F-5 Phase Depot Maintenance line

Responsibilities as the Mechanical Process Engineer:-Executes projects for new opportunities for design and process improvements, evaluate return on investment for resource consumption and planning on all projects.-Evaluate product and process specifications for design accuracy and production feasibility.-Participate in new product launch tasks including the development of procedures and work instructions, document control and the creation and maintenance of BOMs, Routes and product matrix-Gather and analyze Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) including rate, yield and utilization to facilitate decision-making and performance trending-Detailed analysis of costs of present and proposed methods for all processes, including changes in methods, policies, manpower, machines, equipment, or layout-Develop or direct the development of labor cost standards and estimates Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. Modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).

ASO, LLC is located in Sarasota, FL, and is a leading manufacturer, supplier, and distributor of adhesive bandages, wound care products, and other class I Medical Devices. As the product engineer, I design, develop, and manage new products for ASO. I interface with Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing to make a product launch successful for the company and our customers. I work with Design and Process Engineering to transition new products to manufacturing, which includes developing tooling for manufacturing, and product qualification and validation.

Aso LLC is a leading manufacturer, supplier, and distributor of adhesive bandages and wound care products. I assist in the Engineering department where we work on day to day operations that keeps the company running smoothly, and perform studies to verify effectiveness and validate processes used at the company. An important duty of mine at Aso is to have solid understanding of all the products, machines, and processes, so that I can work with the Engineering team to make any engineering changes to the aforementioned, and communicate the changes and ideas to the rest of the company.
