Every day we update the latest software using fully automated pipelines. And new tools are onboarded that accelerate development. As a board member of the VU-Orkest, I am fulfilling the position of concert manager. My responsibilities include organizing the rehearsals, concerts and summer tour. Meaning I book locations for rehearsals and concerts, as well as composing the schedule of activities.

Als trainee bij Working Talent neem ik deel aan een intensief leertraject waarbij ik word opgeleid tot gecertificeerd IT-professional. Het traineeship start met een bootcamp, opgesplitst in twee delen. Het eerste deel is gericht op fundamentele IT-kennis, waarin onder andere IT-infrastructuur, modelleren, cloud, security, databases, programmeren, Agile en Scrum worden behandeld. In het tweede deel wordt dieper ingegaan op één van de specialistische uitstroommogelijkheden; Business & IT, Data Analyse, DevOps Cloud en Software Development. Daarnaast biedt het IT-bootcamp ook ruimte om mijzelf te ontwikkelen op persoonlijk vlak, op het gebied van samenwerken, presenteren en gesprekstechnieken. Na het afronden van het IT-bootcamp vervolg ik het traineeship bij een opdrachtgever van Working Talent.

Zero Emission Fuels B.V. is developing a solar-powered modular microplant producing methanol from carbon dioxide and water. These reactants are obtained using Direct Air Capture. The working horse of this system is the sorbent, in which these gasses are absorbed. Ultimately, my job is to determine the lifetime of this sorbent by looking at its degradation rate using my designed setup. It's the brains on full capacity!

For 4 months, I worked on a process engineering problem with a 7-student team. Our communication was deemed important and as a result our relationship with PPG was efficient. My group role was technical specialist. Furthermore, I worked on site to assess the situation and interview various employees.
