I was fully responsible for preparing the daily delivery schedule for our 3 company trucks, with the goal of optimizing the efficiency of our delivery routes, and pickups from local suppliers. In addition, I was responsible for arranging and scheduling all shipping and receiving of product from our USA suppliers in Indiana and West Virginia.I also helped manage the day-to-day operations which included overseeing the preparation of orders, the loading and unloading of product from both our company trucks and local/international suppliers, as well as the supervision of the yard staff, ensuring that the yard was clean at all times and material was well-organized and properly staged for shipment.When needed, I assisted the order desk and supported the inside sales staff by taking phone calls and attending to any walk-in customers.
