About Ron Tucker

After a successful 22 year career in the USMC, Ron reinvented himself to be a writer, director, producer and cinematographer. Beginning in 1993, his new company Good-to-Go Video produced a series of programs about Marine Corps training and the Marines elite ceremonial units serving at Marine Barracks, Washington, DC. From 1999 - 2013 his team filmed over 600 Marine Corps Graduation Ceremonies at MCRD Parris Island, SC and witnessed more than 250,000 young men and women earn the title of Marine. In 2004 he was certified as an AFCI Film Commissioner and founded the Beaufort International Film Festival. In 2009 he and his wife formed a non-profit 501(c)3 called Beaufort Film Society. BFS recently was a producing partner on the feature film "Stars Fell on Alabama". Ron also served as a Military Technical Advisor and Consultant for the documentary, "We The Marines" narrated by actor and former Marine Gene Hackman. The program plays continuously at the Medal of Honor Museum in Quantico, VA.

Since that time Good-To-Go Video has been established as an exclusive provider of high quality broadcast programs that focus entirely on the United States Marine Corps. From the march sounds of the Marine Band to the more contemporary arrangements performed by the Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps, we’ve also brought to you a rare look at these outstanding ceremonial units as they demonstrate the pomp and pageantry that is unique to the Marine Corps. From inside the training depots at Parris Island, SC and San Diego, CA, we’ve taken you on a week by week journey through Marine Corps Boot Camp.
