My Master's thesis work was at the University of Vermont and was funded by a graduate assistantship grant (UVM Transportation Research Center and NSF grants). I conducted research on the atmospheric aging of PAHs adsorbed to diesel particulate matter and quartz fiber filters at atmospherically relevant ozone concentrations. Through my research, I identified polar organic compounds that formed in the atmosphere during the aging of PAHs and particulate matter.
