From September 29th to October 6th, I served as the Assistant Director of Tournament Operations & Social Media Director for the 2024 Tiburon Challenger, a premier event in the Challenger 75 category. With $82,000 in prize money and a sold-out crowd of 500 attendees each day, the tournament attracted top talent from around the globe, including players ranked in the top 50. This singles and doubles tournament serves as a crucial stepping stone for players aiming to compete in events like the US Open, Australian Open, and Wimbledon.Leading up to the event, I ran a creative and successful social media campaign, identifying key players, conducting background research, and promoting the tournament. I created 78 player bios, match highlights, and posts using Canva, published daily at peak times to maximize engagement. This campaign increased follower count by 33% and generated 154,000 views in 30 days.During the tournament, I handled all social media, providing real-time updates on match results, player highlights, and behind-the-scenes content. I worked with photographers and ATP staff to ensure timely, high-quality posts. I also managed media outreach with local news agencies to increase visibility. Additionally, I worked closely with ATP and our title sponsor, Raymond James, to meet media regulations.At the players’ desk, I managed off-court logistics such as practice court scheduling and coordination with ATP staff to ensure smooth operations. I also handled the tournament phone, addressing player requests and providing essential information. Whether assisting with ballboy duties, VIP access, or hospitality logistics, I made sure all aspects of the event were handled professionally.Working directly with tournament heads gave me invaluable experience managing all facets of a major event. I spent the summer season safely delivering members and guests to and from their vessels, maintaining the integrity and appearance of the NYC fleet, and monitoring/up-keeping the waterfront in general as directed by the Waterfront Manager.

Coordinated and co-directed all social events for the 2021-22 school year for Lambda Chi Alpha Zeta Omicron chapter members and surrounding community. Managed a preset budget and remained transparent on spendings. Communicated with other heads of organization to arrange joint events with very high attendance rates. Coordinated the rental or purchase of countless utility services: built a 100+ SqFt stage, installment of well over 700 SqFt of Artificial turf and many other additions to various outdoor spaces.Researched, delegated and controlled the installment of countless lighting and sound systems from a large event production standpoint.

Assisted in the construction of world-class custom homes in Northern California. Navigating such unique build environments offered great challenge, however the creative problem solving skills I gained are invaluable to my experience. Additionally, I worked part-time in completing drone photography and surveying of the sites.

Worked in child care and camp environments to help enrich the lives of children ages 4-10 throughout Summer. Through sports engagement, art activities, and outdoor programs, the children learned new skills and how to better navigate the world around them.
