I am also a trained facilitator and have certifications in construction risk, ESG implementation, environmental policy and planning. As Senior Counsel at Tilson Technology Management, a fast-growing company in the information infrastructure space, I led an array of projects across various sectors. Moving at the business's velocity on issues as diverse as risk, operations, human resources, EPC contracting, ESG and IT consulting, I excelled leading high performing teams at Tilson through a period of aggressive expansion. I spearheaded organization's comprehensive effort to evaluate B-Corp certification and anchored their ESG work, including process development, KPIs, and compliance activities. During my time with the City of Portland, the City underwent one of the largest development periods in its history. I brought fresh ideas and was able to realize the implementation of several nationally innovative policies. We leveraged the incredible appetite for hospitality construction to create what, I believe, was the nation’s first hotel inclusionary zoning ordinance as a way to fund the housing trust fund. I also oversaw the long-delayed transformation of the City’s eastern waterfront into a mixed-use zone that became a magnet for corporate headquarters bringing diversification of the City’s tax base and employment pool. My core competencies include problem solving, consensus building, project development and delivery, and making connections I thrive building and leading teams with diverse skills and outlooks. I am passionate about sustainability, opportunity, and authentic community engagement, and I apply these values in all my endeavors.
