Headquarter in Singapore with 10 manufacturing sites globally across US (2), Paraguay, UK, Hungary, Dubai, India, China, Thailand and Indonesia. The group proudly employs more than 2,000 colleagues and generates in excess of USD 600m in annual turnover. Responsible for both global finance and IT functions with more than 100 dedicated colleagues. The group was part of a listed FTSE 250 company in UK and was acquired by current PE owners in Dec 2022. Key achievements hereafter was to design and recruit for a global stand-alone group finance and IT function based in Singapore.Complex carve-out activity from previous group was managed in terms of system landscape separation, completion account process and establishing stand-alone processes globally. Furthermore, drove a culture change across the group whereby focus on cash generation became a key focus area.Significant NWC initiatives and improvements completed globally and global tax structures reviewed and revised. Term loan Lenders syndication process successfully achieved with 4 global banks. 2023 EBITDA of USD ~130m achieved before adjusting items related to the separation.

Chief Financial Officer of Energy Drilling – an offshore drilling company headquartered in Singapore with Tender Assist Drilling rigs operating in South East Asia.Successfully provided organizational structure and leadership upon joining the group. Re-focused priorities by making significant efficiency gains and taking out cost of the global operation while maintaining operational excellence toward clients. Approx. 33% cost reduction achieved within a 2-year period with no adverse effect to activity level or business performance. Despite a historical downturn within the offshore segment, EBITDA generation in 2016 was USD 33mn (2016 turnover approx. USD 62mn with approx. 400+ headcounts in the organization). 2017 figures somewhat reduced following commercial extensions of existing contracts.Responsible for all aspects of Finance, IT, Admin, HR, Legal, Insurance and Procurement. Focus areas to negotiate and structure group finance facilities with syndicate lenders as well as Export Credit Agencies. Development of commercial group strategy, shipyard negotiations and (private equity) shareholder management. The group is owned by size-able Norwegian private equity funds with a strong focus to expand the business and hereafter plan for a controlled exit.Subsequent to efforts within the role, I have been appointed to the Offshore Advisory Committee of the company P&I club (Protection & Indemnity insurance). Key achievements include implementation of SAP across the Maersk organization in Taiwan, part of a regional task force (consisting of 4 individuals) to determine the organizational structure of finance function in Maersk Logistics (Damco) across Greater China Region (based in Shanghai) and generally acted as a key driver in the management team of the Taiwan organization. Valuation of Kaohsiung Container Terminal completed successfully (Subsequently disposed).
