I’m Head of Learning and Entrepreneurship Programmes at What Design Can Do, an international organisation that seeks to accelerate the transition to a sustainable, fair and just society using the power of design. Based in Amsterdam, with hubs in São Paulo, Mexico City, Delhi, Nairobi and Tokyo, WDCD started in 2011 and is initiated, curated and organised by creatives. I lead WDCD's extensive global climate action challenge and developing learning programs to support organisations with creative mindsets and creatives with green skills. This encompasses overseeing internal processes, crafting the accelerator program, organizing the creative leadership sprint, curating industry experts, and facilitating both online and offline events for creative entrepreneurs and design professionals with a focus on circularity and climate action. You can reach me to ask; ➖ to design impact-driven creative learning and discovery programs, ➖ to develop creative entrepreneurship programs, ➖ to scout and curate impact-driven design startups & solutions, ➖ to speak about the power of design for a systemic transformation, impact-driven design, holistic design, and circular design.A little bit of a back stage story:✚ I’m a designer at heart, with a decade-long background in stage and spatial design, creative direction, and production design in the film industry. In addition to that, I have hands-on experience in social innovation, design curation, and learning journey design and all for a healthier planet and better society. ✚ I’m also a creative entrepreneur, founded impact-driven creative studio Cross Change, helping organizations to activate their environmentally and socially conscious vision through impact-driven creative projects such as learning programs, co-design workshops, and communication formats.
