Environmental Compliance

Worked as a bar manager and staff supervisor across multiple venues and locations. My roles included staff coordination, staff training, supervising and conflict management for up to 50 staff at a time. Other duties included high volume cash handling and determining new ways to improve on work practices.

Helped to maintain multiple aquarium systems, both fresh and salt water.I provided customers with care advice for their systems, advised on environmentally friendly practices, performed sales and helped with quarantine of livestock.

Worked as a Deck Hand and Dive leader on board a 42 ft Sail boat. Duties included piloting, supervising and training new crew members, customer care, dive expedition leader, general boat maintenance, problem solving, night watch, cooking, cleaning and basic servicing of diesel engines.

During this time I completed my SCUBA Dive master course and worked as a dive leader. Duties included customer service, dive safety supervision and dive leadership. Further duties involved shark diving and public education on the importance of sharks and other marine organisms to both the marine and terrestrial environments.
