The role required me to focus on communication between departments, utilization of the Opera Operating System, communicate with guests and uphold standards provided by the BSA. As a butler, I was primarily involved in creating a tailored guest experience as well as supporting the image of the hotel. As a trainee, I took the initiative of two primary tasks for the hotel whilst still working as a Floor Butler. These tasks were; writing an 87-page manual on the tasks and responsibilities of the Floor Butler, (that is currently used at the St. Regis Bangkok for creating a standard and training of new employees) and creating an interactive roster on excel that would simplify their current system but incorporating all 12 months into separate sheets whilst having an interface set up with formulas and hyperlinks to create a simplified viewing and editing experience.Finally, I also took part in multiple marketing campaigns for the hotel that were utilized on social media and other platforms, and assisted in multiple banquets. -
