Overall purpose of the post is to manage the provision of Office Support & Auxiliary Services within the Premier’s Office in the North West Province by providing office accommodation services; managing the provision of cleaning services; overseeing the sub-directorate's financial & supply chain management; developing, maintaining and ensuring the implementation in relation to governance and legislative framework related to the post; provision of sub-directorate's human resources management & development; and managing the provision of the internal records management services .

Train records management staff in records management and registry. Develop, implement and maintain records classification systems. Provide advice and guidance to institutions within the department regarding the management of records. Conduct records and system inspections at all institutions within the department. Initiate appraisal of records and ensure that there is systematic disposal programme in the department. Handle sorting, arrangement and transfer of records. Ensure proper management and care of all public records in the department. Handle verbal and written enquiries. Monitor the movement of files. Manage human resources .Perform general administrative duties as well as professional records management functions.
