- Make daily tactical decisions on choice of subcontractor in accordance with the customer’s service requirements with a keen awareness of cost containment.- Solution design for logistics bidding/ tender.- Selection, contracting and relationship management with subcontractors (in line with Corporate instruction and standards, depending on subcontractor categories), including service review and commercial negotiations with the geography.- Validate warehouse location and business model.- Maintain and continuously improve cost effective service by regularly learning transportation cost, warehouse renting cost from the market. Together with HSE and quality person(s) in charge to periodically audit, review service suppliers and propose the best that can be to supervise.- Build up a target of KPIs for warehouse and logistics productivity and quality by timing study, observing process, identify root cause and optimize processes.- Manage good performance (productivity, quality of service, data, incident management), including that of subcontractors and initiate, implement, and control corrective and prevent actions.- Control the profitability of logistics operation.- Project management: Implementation time-line, warehouse/ racking system/ delivery…- Set up, organize and utilize warehouse space.- Recruiting and training warehouse staffs.- Managing outsourcing warehouses, including domestic and bonded warehouse.- Organize the transportation services with subcontractors.- Organize the customs clearance Import and Export with subcontractors.- Drive efficiency in the operation & unit cost reduction.- The person in charge of CIP in the country.- Country coach for all training related to CIP such as Kaizen, Lean, Warehouse/ Logistics Excellent,…- Coordinate with Regional CIP colleagues to improve the logistics operations in Vietnam by using own knowledge/experiences and applying Logistics Excellent tools.
