Complex is an understatement when it comes to clinical trial design and execution. Cohort's toolset allows for better understanding of the patient population improving the design and execution of clinical studies. This leads to shorter timelines, lower costs, and higher probabilities of success.

Vitalex is founded by one of my co-founders at NovaDigm. Dr. Ibrahim is an incredibly talented researcher and was responsible for many of the breakthroughs we achieved at NovaDigm. Vitalex is developing monoclonal antibodies and diagnostics against drug resistant fungal and bacterial pathogens. The lead monoclonal antibodies target infections caused by species of Mucorales; fungi that cause infections with unacceptably high mortality and Acinetobacter baumannii, a multi-drug resistant bacteria that continues to develop new strategies to evade even the most advanced antibiotics. Both of these monoclonal antibodies would qualify for orphan designations.

During my MBA, I developed the business plan and early strategy for NovaDigm, a company developing vaccines and immunotherapy against infectious diseases, specifically disease caused by Candida and Staphylococcus aureus. At 26 years old, I was a co-founder of the company along with several notable UCLA professors. Later that year I led the business process to raise our first round of venture capital.Our Series A ($18 Million) was led by a top tier Venture Capitalist. Additionally, I initiated the department of defense funding pipeline which eventually brought the company $21 Million enabling us to build our company.My responsibilities include business development, fundraising, strategy, corporate development, marketing and finance.
