I worked as a Unit Manager at Lassila & Tikanoja Plc’s Industrial Services unit. Our 40 people unit consisted of two different organizations; dangerous goods recycling services and sewer maintenance services. We were serving a large customer base from private to public sector and industrial companies. My role was to lead, supervise and develop our business unit. Continuous improvement of Safety at work was also one of the most important thing in my role.

My role was to manage organization’s most important and valuable customers. I negotiated and sold services also for the new potential customers.

I worked as a foreman at Kuusakoski Ltd’s demolition unit. In addition to basic foreman duties; resourcing, scheduling and controlling expenses and revenues, I was responsible for finding new demolition targets, contacting customers and making offers. I also built an ISO 14001 environmental management system for our organisation and was creating an OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management system as a part of our risk managing operations.

I was responsible for long distance transportation inside Finland and also traffic between Finland and Sweden. There were internal deliveries between Kuusakoski Oy's own yards and also external material deliveries straight to the customers. I also handled material deliveries both ways between Heinola plant and customer at Germany.I had some 35 trucks under my control on a daily basis. In addition to these there were a lot of cooperation partners that I used regularly.

I worked three years as a vehicle scheduler at Shell. My job was to plan packed product export deliveries mainly to Russia and CIS countries. In addition, I was responsible for deliveries to 50 other countries. Products were delivered from Helsinki warehouses mostly by truck, but railway deliveries also became very familiar to me. My responsibilities also included maintenance of order statistics, observation of warehouse balances, and creating export documents. Company language was english.
