I have over 15 years of experience working with x-ray detectors based on solid state direct conversion materials such as CdTe, CZT and Silicon. I have been closely involved in the full chain of development from understanding the semiconductor converter materials physics to read-out circuit principles (including both conventional charge integration and photon counting) to detector device design to building a manufacturing chain and delivering products with success to customers in wide variety of fields. My personal focus has been in specifying read-out circuit requirements and guiding the design work, definition of semiconductor converter detectors, developing crucial calibration and image correction algorithms, developing high-performance versatile imaging software and managing customer integration projects.Additionally I have experience on establishing manufacturing execution systems for high-end x-ray detector manufacturing and managing medical device development projects in an ISO13485 environment. During my employment at Ajat I have also been the supervisor for the R&D team and a member of the executive management team. I am also the inventor or co-inventor of more than half a dozen patents in the x-ray imaging field and taken care of patent prosecution.I also have a very strong background in software engineering on workstation and server environments with C++, C#/.NET, Matlab and Python.I am always open for new challenges with an open mind and a bag full of enthusiasm.
