I was appointed Chief Risk Officer by the Board of Directors and became a member of the Executive Team. I managed, supervised, consulted and developed solutions to a wide spectrum of risks; from operative- and financial risks to regulatory- and market risks. I reported directly to the Board of Directors and upheld regular counselling with the CEO. I underwent executive coaching by Marko Rossi Consulting. Additionally, leveraging my diverse background, I effectively served as a versatile substitute across various roles within the company.

My responsibility was to co-manage customer portfolios and a mutual fund in a team of 2. I was a regular member of the investment council. Assets under management was more than half a billion euros. I back-tested and quantified a stock picking algorithm, which was implemented into our mutual funds' stock selection process. Additionally, I created and produced bespoke analysis services for several top-tier customers.

I operated as a Product Owner for an outsourced team of developers in order to deliver a highly robust reporting system for web and e-mail reporting. I co-developed, automated and assisted in solving several issues during and after the process. Internal workflow optimization and process automation was also a priority in order to enable future growth.

I worked as a Back Office Manager in an ambitious Asset Management start-up consisting of me and 3 of my former colleagues from eQ. My responsibility was to co-setup, manage and operate a complex and multifunctional Back Office operation for demanding customers. My goal was to develop an operative foundation that would enable future growth within our domain of business. During this time, the team grew from a solo to a team of 3.

My daily responsibility was to manage and perform administrative level tasks in customer portfolios. Main tasks revolved around transactions-, reconciliations- and reporting operations. During this time I developed a variety of VBA/Excel tools and improvements with the purpose to enhance and automate the workflow.

As a Fund Controller my daily responsibility was to produce Net Asset Value calculations for eQ's several UCITS and non-UCITS mutual funds. Main duties involved cash- & fx-management, settlement operations (OTC and listed), allocations and customer transactions, corporate actions and reconciliations. I was involved in testing and co-implementing a new CRM-/Asset Management System to further enhance synergies from recent company acquisitions.

I worked as a summer fill-in at eQ's portfolio management desk. My main responsibilities included monitoring and updating several quantitative systems, creating presentations for the board of directors and customers, monitoring mutual fund performances and limit setups, and implementing portfolio allocations.
