I was the key scientific expert and decision maker in the project. I led the work of up to 6 people fully dedicated to the project and about 5 people partly in. I modeled the performance of the gas analyzer based on a unique technology combination applying Gasera gas detectors. I created a simulation tool with LabView to use the model. Simulation results led to starting a development project in 2015 for a customer aiming to a new product.Additionally, I developed Gasera key technologies including optical and photoacoustic detection. I made lots of testing and analyzing results.

I performed various measurements and testing in research and development, especially FTIR related tasks including similar prototype building as I did as a thesis worker. Additionally, I characterized the stability and emission curve of MEMS based infrared light sources and, by using Zemax, optimized a reflector for a broad band infrared source. The interferometer had small footprint compared to its optical throughput. It was thermally highly stable. I started and developed the measurement services for the traffic induced vibration. I developed vibration study process and created automated analysis tools using Scilab, a MATLAB clone. I made studies of traffic induced ground vibrations from performing the measurements to data analysis and reporting results to customers.
