The Finland Promotion Board, made up of communications and marketing professionals, is responsible for coordinating Finland's country brand communications. It brings together state-funded bodies carrying out country brand work and sets the annual themes for country brand communications.Country brand communications is one of Team Finland’s central tasks, as a positive image of our country for instance helps Finnish companies to sell their products and attracts both investments and tourists to Finland. However, Finland’s country brand is not only a matter for Team Finland. All Finns and friends of Finland convey Finland’s message.

Mellakka Helsinki is a creative indie communications agency inside a full-service strategic creative agency N2 Helsinki.While working at the company my task was to move laterally on different levels from business development, leadership, sales, marketing, account directing to client projects. Hands on end-to-end.Year 2017 was a game changer for Mellakka Helsinki. Top line increased over 30% and bottom line over 150%.In 2018 my work with Ruisrock and CGI resulted a number one prize in Best Use of Data and an honourable award in Best Use of New Technology in Grand One competition.Despite the ownership and Mellakka being a great place to work, a possibility I couldn’t say no to appeared. After successful year and a half I felt my job was done.

Pohjoisranta Burson-Marsteller was Finland’s leading strategic communications agency owned by a WPP company Burson-Marsteller.My table was a buffet: operations, leadership, business development, leadership team member, strategic client consultancy, account directing, sales, marketing, technology and digital practice lead, pan-Nordic digital expertise team lead.Key theme was digitalization of a strategic communications agency. Pohjoisranta Burson-Marsteller had the highest revenue per employee in its segment in 2014 and 2015 and met the targets in a challenging market.Digital Practice, Technology Practice and pan-Nordic Digital Expertise Team launches were one of the highlights.

Alma 360 was the biggest content agency in Finland at the time owned by a major media company Alma Media.I had various responsibilities: digital design team lead, digital business development (incl. M&A), leadership team member, account and project directing, digital concept design.Digitalization of a content agency and acquisition & integration of a digital design agency were one of the biggest highlights.From 2005 to 2011 next to digital responsibilities I acted as unit's head of IT driving various technology and software development projects from strategy to implementation working closely with Alma Media's IT department and various vendors.
