I am an experienced professional having worked many years as financial manager/director in commerce and industry, and operations due diligence in hedge funds and real estate. I have headed up accounting and administration departments, and I was head of operations due diligence at a very successful fund of hedge funds.Within financial management, my main responsibilities have included preparation of accounting records, financial statements, budgets and cash flow statements, implementing and monitoring compliance of internal controls, and reporting to management at Board level.My main responsibility as an operational due diligence specialist have been to ensure that all underlying assets being invested in, are safe from any operations risk. Special attention is given to structure, location, management, process, regulation, oversight.I am meticulous and work in a methodical manner ensuring that all angles are covered. I am team player with strong managerial skills. I am forward thinking and take initiative in getting the job done as efficiently as possible. For a team to thrive, it’s not about “me”, but rather it’s all about “us” and the combined effort of the team, if channelled correctly, will lead to eventual success.
