Turjo is an experienced supply chain professional with a prior background of manufacturing. Over the years, through various engagements and wearing multiple hats, Turjo's experience has covered a broad range of activities - product release management, roadmap management, transformation programme, analytics strategy, stakeholder management, project management, business analysis. Turjo's current key responsibility is managing logistics for Bridgestone Asia Pacific - focusing on strategic initiatives, particularly in the areas of digitalisation and continuous improvment. This involves working closely with 11 countries in Asia Pacific and also regular engagement with global teams in Japan. Logistics cost as a percentage of sales, is an important metric that he needs to monitor and collaborate with countries to keep it under control. Prior to this, Turjo spend 15 years in DHL Supply Chain where his last assignment was focused on delivering on the reporting and data analytics agenda to support the DHL Global Service Logistics business, through customer engagement, use-case definition, report designing and business analysis with the help of a team of data analysts. He worked across all levels of stakeholders - from Board members to country leads to operations managers. The scope of the role was global and therefore involved working with a diverse group of people across all regions. He collaborated with Operations, Innovation, IT and Finance to drive prioritisation and planning of business needs, business case analysis, stakeholder approval management and overall escalations to align with the organisational objectives. Turjo has a varied interests in a wide-range of topics. He loves to practice Muay Thai and enjoys watching and playing sports. He enjoys cooking as much as likes eating.
