I have more than 15 years of experience in Biogas, Waste Management, Waste to Energy, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Circular Economy, R&D, Agro-industries, and Renewable Energy projects, including due diligence and feasibility studies in several sectors like Solar, Biomass, Wind and Hydropower plants, etc. I have conducted in the last 10 years many Feasibility and Due Diligence Studies as Project Management activity on behalf of various companies and governmental institutions including several cases of renewable and fossil fuel investments, sustainable environment planning, and heat, and energy efficiency projects in Turkey and other countries. I have experience working with the EBRD, UNIDO, and other financing institutions. I have gained significant knowledge of all energy and environment-related technical aspects, industrial equipment, costs, loads, types of fuels, countries’ electrical generation, natural resources, etc. I have strong experience in conducting on-site waste and waste-to-energy audits with teams composed of multidisciplinary experts and coordinating on-site activities and energy analysis. I also have experience in the financial analysis of investments, GHG emission calculations, and Emission Reduction projects in various industries. Also, I have strong experience in team building, training, and event organizing. Finally, I have experience in Carbon and Water footprint assessment and ISO 14064. I finished my contract with UNIDO as a National Technical Expert in June 2022 for Project no: 140325 and Environmental Expert in "Assan Food: Transition from Linear to Circular Business Model" (EBRD Project) in September 2021. I was also a member of the Turkish-German Team of "Team Deeply High" for the Solar Decathlon Competition (SDE21). I was a researcher in the ERANET-LAC project with the title of "Valorisation Of Agricultural Residues Via Anaerobic Digestion: From Biogas To Carboxylates" I am currently Asst. Prof. Dr. at Istanbul Medeniyet University. I am a founding partner of two RnD Companies, YunaTek and CO2Notr located in Bogazici University Dudullu Teknopark. I have good knowledge abroad, with working experiences in Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Russia, and the USA.
