While working on our studies and serving as consultants for Polytope's clients, the team at Opticaal saw a hole in the market for a SaaS Clinic Management Platform for opticians across Europe. We worked part-time on the project for a couple of years, and when we received a grant from the Innovation Fund Denmark in January 2022, we started working full-time on the project the following month.Highlights:• Designed and developed a SaaS clinic management system for opticians using Figma and Adobe Suite, resulting in a fully functional platform that improved operational efficiency for our users.• Conducted extensive product discovery processes with expert optician users, resulting in the implementation of user-friendly features and functionalities.• Managed front-end development, branding, UX research, account management, project management, and other ad-hoc tasks associated with startup operations to ensure seamless execution of the design process.
