As an advisor to the CEO, I've provided advice and technical assistance around software development and product management for the FormWeb software platform. Leveraging my software development background, startup experience, and healthcare industry knowledge I've provided technical direction including database design and development, sourced software development partners, and provided general business advice around the software product ranging from marketing and business development, to pricing, to fund raising.

In 2010 Small Footprint worked with Scene in Winston-Salem to develop a mobile app idea around the location content they'd created for the Downtown Winston-Salem Scavenger Hunt. The result was Treks in the City™, an app that allows visitors and locals an easy way to explore Winston-Salem based on their interests such as Art, Architecture, or Entertainment. Treks in the City™ has been a tremendous success and now Small Footprint is focused on rolling the app out in other cities!

Patrick learned about the unique model of blending experienced local software development professionals with talented Romanian software engineers as a customer of Small Footprint in 2008. At the height of the recession in 2009 Patrick's layoff became the nudge he needed to become the entrepreneur he wanted to be so he bought into the company. Since then he's been instrumental in growing the company more than 50 percent annually.
