Viacom had recently acquired CMT and subsequently experienced mass exodus of most of the production team. Articulated objectives for rebuilding department, repositioning it from cost center to profit center and revitalizing its reputation from creative, technical and client services perspectives. Managed $6M operating and $4M technical budgets.► Saved $500K by instituting Creative Assets Department to build show credits for CMT, delivering quantity and quality at such a high level that department’s scope expanded to serve all 22 Viacom networks.► Drove digital transformation for production and post-production, securing budget approval for digital cameras, defining new operational policies and leading across-the-board re-training on new production procedures.► Achieved 100% of project deadlines during relocation to newly-renovated facility by negotiating with area post-production facilities to host CMT editors for 14 days, then bringing them back to Viacom’s new location.

Strategically planned and launched CMT’s global presence, opening production and post-production facilities in Australia, Argentina, Brazil, and the US, and delivered ROI within 6 months. Defined 2-year financial strategy with cost controls, directing budgeting, recruiting, design management, digital technology implementation and technical support for each facility.
