    My role at The Examination is a career shift into a smaller newsroom that specializes in investigative work. I am the newsroom's lead on all visuals (photo, video, illustrations, maps, charts) across platforms (onsite and social), producing cutting-edge, high-impact works, and finding new, innovative ways to visualize data and tell stories. I am also the lead on our team in managing and building on a brand new custom website. My work has an outsized effect on the output of our newsroom as well as the global media partnerships we steer.The Examination is an independent nonprofit news organization working in the public interest in partnership with major news organizations across the globe to investigate preventable public health threats and equip people in harm’s way. The Examination has collaborated with news partners in a dozen countries, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Der Spiegel, The Guardian and Guardian US, and local outlets in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the U.S. on hard-hitting investigations.
