I managed genealogical society involvement with the 1940 US Census Community project. I collaborated on a strategy to connect the average patron with the help resources that societies can provide.

I taught severe/profound special education, 4th grade, and 5th grade. I served as a representative for the teachers in my school and worked with administrators to resolve issues. I loved discovering what a student enjoyed and laying a foundation for them to learn in meaningful ways. I was the Teacher of the Year at Adams Elementary in 2004-2005 school year.
