I practise predominantly in the areas of planning and environmental disputes (including crime in these areas), building and construction disputes, and in a variety of commercial disputes.In the planning and environmental area, my work includes acting on development and environmental appeals, compulsory acquisition, civil enforcement, judicial review of administrative and statutory actions, and prosecutions. I act for proponents, neighbours, other professionals involved in the development process, local government and other statutory authorities.I am recognised by Doyle's Guide 2016, 2017 as one of NSW's leading Planning & Environment Barristers.In the building and construction area, my work includes acting on residential building and commercial/infrastructure disputes, and security of payment actions. I act for individual owners through to large developers, builders and subcontractors.In the commercial disputes area, my work is highly varied including disputes involving a wide range of real property rights (eg. title disputes, strata disputes, encroachments, easements and covenants), development agreements, retail and commercial leasing, loans, and other consumer/business and business/business disputes.
