I have 6 years of experience in technology, innovations and business development with a key focus on training and mentoring young people especially University students in Uganda to develop tech and innovative startups.Through working with Empower Youth in Technology (EYIT), Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Hive Colab Mbarara, I have gained skills and experience in Academic Management Information Systems Implementation and End User Support, Digital Content Creation for both web and social media platforms, tech startups development, entrepreneurship training and coaching, grants proposal writing/ fundraising, community/social projects/programs implementation.I have won several Grants, Fellowships, and Awards as follows;• Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund from US Department of State in 2023• Mandela Washington Fellowship Reciprocal Exchanges Program grant from US Department of State in 2023• Mandela Washington and Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Fellowships (US Department of State fully funded exchange programs for young African leaders).• Techpreneur of the Year Africa under 30 at the Founder of the Year Awards (FOYA) in Nairobi in 2021• Funds for Internet Research Education (FIRE) Africa Grant from AFRINIC in 2018• The Young Africa Leaders Initiative Transformation Grant from USAID in 2021• Capacity building grant from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) Uganda in 2022• The Covid-19 Economic Recovery and Resilience Response Programme (CERRRP) grant from Private Sector Foundation Uganda implemented by MasterCard Foundation in 2022 I have undergone thorough training in design entrepreneurship, sustainability in business, technology development, design thinking, business models and plans, corporate governance, results-based management, and managing people in projects from both local and international institutions such as Dale Carnegie, Kenyatta University, GIZ Uganda, and Swedish Management Institute in Sweden.
