Operation Manager
CurrentResponsible for the sales, operations and inventory management of the department along with a team comprising of associates, team leaders and department managers.Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork by scheduling, evaluating and delegating work to ensure that department meets/ exceeds company standards.Preparing and developing the team for Performance Development Programs through classroom and floor trainings.Initiate activities to adhere to established general merchandise guidelines and promotional programs in General Merchandizing and CDIT. Manage the in-store merchandise display process from stockroom to sales floor. Create and maintain displays in compliance with company standards. Ensures merchandise is managed in accordance with company policies and management directives. Ensure pricing and inventory integrity Ensure proper inventory levels based on sales and trends. Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting received stocks; issuing orders for replenishment. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system. Act as a member of the store leadership team and through analysis of business trends, historical and current data points, collaborate to institute programs, initiatives and best practices to increase market share. Build key partnership with store management for promotional opportunities, special events.
