As a team leader in Phase-III (Fabrication Phase), my work was focused on design advancements in external chassis, frame (internal & external), suspension and mobility division of the payload prototype. Excelled with national rank 1, securing research grant by the company ($25,000 & $40,000) to manufacture the prototype payload structure compatible with C-130J Super Hercules Military Aircraft. The payload is intended for disaster relief operations by the Indian Air Force (IAF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).

•The internship focused on study of Drilling rig equipment, Economic Analysis of Crude Oil Pipelines and maintenance of major mechanical equipment of drilling rigs.•The economic feasibility of a pipeline installation for a given distance between refinery and drilling rig was also dealt with and break-even analysis was performed to find out the minimum distance beyond which transportation of crude oil through pipeline would be more economical as compared to other means such as trucks, railways, etc.
