Responsible for Sourcing, Procurement and Supply Management, Materials Management, Logistics & Distribution

 Oversee the development and implementation of all company activities including marketing, production, sourcing & supply chain, financial control and personnel. Ensure that the Company’s business activities are profitable and its assets are efficiently utilized so as to provide a satisfactory return for shareholders. Direct the company’s planning activities and provide leadership and overall guidance in both the administration and operations of the company. Determine overall long-range objectives and recommend their adoption to the board, prepare plans and programs to achieve approved objectives and oversee their implementation. Ensure that policies and procedures approved by the Board are being adhered to in all operations. Maintain regular contact with major suppliers, industrial bodies and commercial organizations and others where continued contact is important in the achievement of the company’s objectives. Formulate & carry out the rules for the day to day management of the company. Submit an annual forecasting sales plan and budget expenditure to the Board for approval.

 Owning, leading and developing the Master Plan for the factory considering machines constraints & available manpower.  Coordinating with design & procurement team to ensure the availability of drawings & materials on time and achieve the contractual delivery of the projects. Regular feedback to Sales Dept for the current UEOB position & follow up for the Order Intake to fill the production Capacity.  Looking after all production operations to improve output or exceed sales & MVA target Checking that transformer is manufactured & delivered on time as per schedule to avoid extra shipping cost and penalties & achieving quality norms to reduce the rejection & failures Providing training to all production staffs & workers for improving their skills & knowledge Monitoring & controlling the input materials as per pre-set budget on a monthly basis  Organizing design review meeting and handling materials for on-time delivery Developing shipment schedule for export clients of various countries e.g. New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Middle East

 Recognised for upgrading manufacturing facility of Brush Transformers Gulf LLC from 33 KV to 132/220 KV & 150 MVA by installing the Higher Capacity Crane, Machines, Mandrels & Core Platforms Instrumental in initiating the concept of Building the Business of “After-Sales Support for Transformers” Developed a dedicated team for service networking with entire equipment & facilities such as Mobile Vacuum Pump, Oil Filtration Machine, Storage Tank and DG Set Successfully introduced Jack Clamping for Composite Coils after final drying of active part to ensure proper & equal pressure distribution in them  Played a significant role in standardizing the Ovening Process for individual windings & final ovening of active parts as per temperature, vacuum & water extraction rate Contributed in introducing new vendors of fabrication of tanks, insulation for winding & Core Coil Assembly locally in UAE.  Known for implementing Rate Contract Concept 1st time for MS fabrication works and insulation materials . Effectively implemented Gradation System for workers through evaluation of Skill Matrix for 1st time Bagged Employee of the Year 2011

Overall responsible for complete manufacturing of the Power Transformers Plant, manufactured first time 765 kV transformer in India in technical collaboration with Toshiba, Japan.Production Operations Supervising production related tasks including planning, control & troubleshooting for achieving the planned periodic schedules and process control. Monitoring the production status, procedures and systems followed in production to ensure compliance norms with desired quality and timely delivery of orders.  Coordinating with planning team for attaining the monthly production targets and tracking progress against targets by analyzing daily reports and developing effective counter measures.Quality / Process Enhancements  Taking stringent quality measures including preparation of necessary documents to ensure compliance with above standards & customer requirements.  Implementing various techniques for cycle time / cost reduction, entailing identification of opportunities, analysis of data, conducting tests, cost benefit analysis and implementation.Man Management Directing, leading & motivating workforce and imparting continuous on job training for accomplishing greater operational effectiveness/ efficiency.  Working on succession planning of the workforce, shift management activities, appraising the member’s performance & providing feedback.
