This was a unique responsibility given. Post technical experience, was given this opportunity from another dept called Business Development. Before this, “sales"s was “SALES" for me until, I could hold the bull by horns and made it “sales" :)The opportunity lead me to travel and connect with many C Level executives. We had started an initiative called TWT or "Two week travel". Where we would pick a major city in any country, that could get potential business prospects. A team would set up appointments for a personal meeting with decision makers of organizations right at their offices. We would meet around 20-30 companies during our 2 weeks stay. Meet them at their place, represent ourself, win the trust and business deals. When we are not traveling we would follow up our prospects and also speak to new prospects over phone with a prescheduled appointments. The great learning here is speak the truth, be confident, and if you keep it simple, you would win the clients.

March 2005 is when we had started another development center for Mindfire Solutions and I was part of two people team sent out there to start building new teams at Bhubaneshwar center. Staring with overall team of 11 people , this center is the biggest among 3 development centers company has today.The initial days at new center brought a great learning experience for us. As being part of new center were directly or indirectly involved many center set up activities. Apart from above Have handled projects with various technologies and area and different domains.Few key words to be added here wereASP,VB, VB .NET, C# .NET, ActionScript, Coldfusion, Coldfusion reporting, Flex, PHP, HTML, XML, CSS, MySQL, MS SQL, FileMaker, Oracle, AJAX, JQuery, YUI, Fusebox, MVC, Model-Glue. Being Goal lead got my responsibilities extended to business section of the technical projects. I was responsible of working a small team of Software engineers working with Adobe Flash and any related technologies like .NET, PHP, Coldfusion etc. At the same time was responsible to explore the area of business in given technologies and build online presence of the company in the given area with proven expertise. This was a great learning experience where we did learn technologies, executed projects and helped brand building through active forum participation to help others, publish articles, participation in conferences and various other activities that brought incoming business leads to the organization in given area.

These were the early days of career. Started programming with Coldfusion and moved on to ASP and VB 6 and VBA with MS Access and MS SQL, and moved to VB .NET and Flash programming.
