When I was 19 years old, my brother and I traveled by train from Finland to Vietnam. After my brother returned home, I continued traveling solo. The half-year journey to Asia was an eye-opening experience that sparked something in me. After finishing my bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management in Finland, I moved to Bangkok, and I ended up living in Asia for a combined four years.For the last seven years, I’ve been working for Framery Acoustics, running sales in the Asia–Pacific region. Framery is the world’s leading manufacturer of soundproof phone booths and acoustic pods for office use. During my time at Framery, the company’s revenue has grown from 5 MEUR to 150 MEUR. It has been a unique professional learning experience to see the company grow from a small start-up to an internationally recognized industry leader.One of the greatest pleasures I have had in my career is working with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I have had the privilege to travel extensively and learn how business cultures differ in each country. Building trust and meaningful relationships with the people I work with is one of the most essential aspects of my job.
