With a practice that spans over a variety of mediums ranging from communication design to art directing, web design, publication, 3D and visual manipulation, Tu Le explores the associative processes that often lie behind the construction of narratives. As a part of his discipline, he regularly works with absurd and hypothetical situations in daily routine all the while constructing his own reaction. Moreover, he is interested in the intersection of digital media, photography, installation, sculpture, drawing, and non-traditional mediums. He also shares a passion for building an indie publication sub-culture and laying the foundation to make a playground for young local artists to share their own self-indulgent narratives through various co-owned projects and programs. Next to his work as an art director at WEDOGOOD, he also co-owns Gominasai Toy, a toy brand that finds its roots and inspiration from punkness and humor.
