I had the opportunity to acquire basic knowledge and to observe practical cases in areas such as competition law, international trade law, tax law. In competition law, I observed oral hearings, summarized significant decisions of the Turkish Competition Authority, made a detailed presentation on hub& spoke cartels, and prepared different excel spreadsheets on gun-jumping and settlement decisions. Furthermore, I conducted research regarding the Turkish regulations on food imports, on air freight transportation; prepared a memorandum on intersection of Fintech and the transfer of personal data abroad. I conducted in-depth examinations of “The Draft Law on Amendments to Tax Laws and Certain Laws”. Throughout this period, I extensively utilized English, significantly enhancing my language proficiency, as well as my presentation and research skills.

Furthermore, we analyzed the right to strike of public officials within the Turkish administrative law system and the ECtHR system.

During my internship at Karaca A.Ş., I worked especially in the fields of commercial law and consumer law. I drafted consumer arbitration committee petitions as well as having the chance to follow up legal correspondence within the company and closely observe the litigation processes.

During my internship at EVG Attorney Partnership, I had the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various areas of law. As a law intern, I actively supported the legal team in conducting legal research on a wide range of topics including case law, statutes, and regulations and drafting legal documents.
