Summer Intern
I had the opportunity to acquire basic knowledge and to observe practical cases in areas such as competition law, international trade law, tax law. In competition law, I observed oral hearings, summarized significant decisions of the Turkish Competition Authority, made a detailed presentation on hub& spoke cartels, and prepared different excel spreadsheets on gun-jumping and settlement decisions. Furthermore, I conducted research regarding the Turkish regulations on food imports, on air freight transportation; prepared a memorandum on intersection of Fintech and the transfer of personal data abroad. I conducted in-depth examinations of “The Draft Law on Amendments to Tax Laws and Certain Laws”. Throughout this period, I extensively utilized English, significantly enhancing my language proficiency, as well as my presentation and research skills.
