I led the global engineering, technology, and innovation function for Allegion, which consists of the previous Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies and Residential Security businesses. Allegion's global engineering team is over 600 strong, with teams located around the world, including the United States, Mexico, India, China, Germany, Italy, France, and the UK. Engineering talent includes strong capabilities in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. Through the efforts of our growing engineering and technology team, Allegion has become the industry leader in innovation, launching products such as the Schlage Sense connected lock, the first lock that is fully compatible with Apple's Homekit system. Allegion provides mechanical and electronic security products and solutions for homes and businesses in more than 120 countries. I lead the engineering, technology, and innovation function for Ingersoll Rand's Security Technologies sector, headquartered in Carmel, IN. Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies offers integrated solutions incorporating products from our wide portfolio including: Door Controls, Exit Hardware, Mechanical Locking, Steel Doors, Automatic Doors, Electronic Locking, Time & Attendance, and Safe City Surveillance Systems. The Engineering and Technology team is distruted globally, with multiple engineering locations in the United States and Germany, along with India, China, Mexico, Italy, France, Turkey, and the UK.

Division VP of UAS Engineering – leads the Unmanned Aircraft Systems engineering team for AAI Corporation, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. company. AAI’s UAS engineering team is a highly skilled team comprised of diverse engineering skills (Software, Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical), technicians, and flight crew. We have been externally assessed at CMMI Level 5 for software engineering.Our primary UAS products are the Shadow RQ-7B Tactical UAS. Shadows to date have completed 100,000 missions. With 113 systems ordered and 87 delivered, Shadow systems are deployed with the U.S. Army, Army National Guard, Army Special Forces and Marine Corps. These systems have amassed more than 445,000 flight hours, the majority of which have been in support of combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.AAI also develops and manufactures the Aerosonde Small UAS (SUAS). The Aerosonde aircraft has taken part in other, similarly perilous meteorological research missions. As part of its previous work with NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, an Aerosonde aircraft completed a history-making flight into Hurricane Noel in November 2007. It was the first hurricane mission in which an unmanned aircraft was able to explore the storm’s eye and the eye wall. The 17-hour, 27-minute flight duration was a record for unmanned aircraft hurricane missions, and the Aerosonde aircraft gathered data from as low as 300 feet above the ocean’s surface. AAI has offered the Aerosonde Mark 4.7, a derivative of the Aerosonde Mark 4 aircraft, as its entry for the joint U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System (STUAS)/Tier II competition.

Directs the over 200-person, $32M global engineering and product development effort for GE Security’s video security, cargo security, and key control businesses. Annual product line revenues of over $600M.
