Tanuj is presently an angel invester in multiple companies, and advising several other companies. He is most excited about his recent involvement with Karat as a Strategic Advisor. Karat's mission is to bring quality, efficiency, and equity to the technical hiring process leveraging their AI software platform. Karat's data platform allows organizations to get better visibility into hiring funnel efficiencies, and to benchmark their talent (role by role) against peer organizations. As strategic advisor, Tanuj will actively participate in regular interactions with Karat’s executive leadership and go-to-market teams, and provide guidance on how Karat’s existing and upcoming product offerings & positioning address the needs of global teams, including India-based Global Capability Centers (GCCs).Prior to that, Tanuj was Chief Technology Officer at HighRadius or one year. Based in Hyderabad, Tanuj was responsible for a 1200+ member team responsible for Engineering, Product Management and Data Sciences, Cloud engineering, and Global customer success.Before this, Tanuj spent almost three years as Strategic advisor at Cambrian labs, helping the company scale its innovative solutions such as Zflow - an integrated workflow engine for the modern supply chain. Prior to this, Tanuj was heading the Business Management segment within the Enterprise Software Division, responsible for products such as Clarity PPM and IT Service Management, driving a $200M+ revenue for Broadcom globally. Prior to this, Tanuj was Senior Vice President and Head of the India Technology Center, largest development center for CA Technologies globally with over 2000 employees. Tanuj spent 9+ years at Microsoft, where he held multiple roles such as GM of Program Management, GM of Dev, GM for Strategic Enterprise Services IT, Product Unit Manager for the SQL Business Unit IDC, and Director of Program Management for Visual Studio Test Business. Before joining Microsoft, Tanuj worked for 11 years with IBM and it’s acquisitions. Tanuj has a strong technical background, and has worked on system software, databases, cloud tools, and development tools – with technical management and leadership experience on complex distributed projects.
