As a student at Southeast Missouri State, I volunteered many hours via highway cleanup, blood drives, and organizing fundraisers. I changed my major from general studies with an emphasis towards nursing, to Computer Information Systems, before finally deciding on Wildlife Conservation. While I enjoyed exploring all three potential careers, I was indecisive and have taken time away from finishing my degree. My entrepreneurial side is never quite satisfied as I hunger for more knowledge and expertise.I have worked in sales (both non-commissioned and commisioned-based), customer service, the service industry, and as a bartender. I have been chosen for promotional opportunities that didn't fulfill my needs or were detrimental to my finances and I had to pass them up. My work ethic is greater than it has ever been and I am exploring the career opportunities available on LinkedIn.

  I help to provide support to guests, online travel agencies (OTAs), and hotel staff through incoming and outgoing calls and email, to ensure reservation accuracy and customer satisfaction. I work closely with advance purchase reservations to assist with modifying reservations that are otherwise non-modifiable, relaying rate differences and handling negative balances regularly. I help to reconcile monthly reports between our hotels and the records of OTAs. The job requires a lot of data entry, including updating rates and availability and troubleshooting company wide outages including quick, efficient cleanup to reduce the aftermath of the outage for my coworkers and guests.
