Completing the half-year Minor at Tilburg University left me with a gap before starting my master’s program in September. Inspired by a Business Challenge at Radboud University centered on Latin American business, I chose to fill this gap with a work experience abroad. I chose Medellin, Colombia as my destination. Over five months, I worked with a team of ten marketing specialists on consulting projects for American B2B SaaS companies. My main responsibility was lead generation, where I focused on strategies such as email marketing and uncovering opportunities on platforms like Upwork. This area of marketing was new to both me and Effiqs. As we developed in this field, we were able to benefit both our company and, eventually, our clients. Exporing this type of cold outreach allowed my to inprove my ability to tailor communication for diverse target audiences.This experience not only enhanced my marketing expertise but also fostered personal growth, teaching me how to navigate new challenges and thrive in diverse professional settings.
