As the Deputy Mayor of City of Seattle, Tiffany Washington oversees the operations and strategic direction of several departments and agencies, including Homelessness, Education and Early Learning, Human Services, and Public Utilities. With more than 20 years of experience in public service and nonprofit management, Tiffany brings a wealth of knowledge and skills in program development, grant writing, fundraising, and community engagement.Tiffany's core mission is to advance racial, economic, and educational justice for the diverse and underserved communities of Seattle. She has a proven track record of building responsive and sustainable systems, increasing organizational capacity, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. Tiffany holds a Master of Science in Human Services from Capella University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Washington. She is passionate about serving as a mentor and advocate for youth, especially those in foster care and juvenile justice. Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family and her granddaughter.
